Asparagus is one of about 7 vegetables that my SO will eat. I find it funny because it is one of about 2 that my nana won’t eat (and now can’t because of her heart medications). We eat a lot of asparagus when it’s in season.
I love how quickly asparagus cooks. takes 10 minutes, and it’s pretty fantastic. I love that it’s only 2 ingredients, and the flavor is perfect. It’s hard to beat Cajun asparagus

- 1 pound asparagus
- 1 tsp Cajun Seasoning
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
- Snap the asparagus at the tender part of the stalk. Arrange spears in one layer on a baking sheet. Spray lightly with nonstick spray; sprinkle with the Cajun seasoning.
- Bake in the preheated oven until tender, about 10 minutes.
