Every time I bring up fast food and how much I love it, I feel like my foodie card should be revoked! That being said, I absolutely love McChickens, but without the mayo. Ick. Can’t do mayo. The texture and all just doesn’t work for me.
While it’s true that this won’t be the healthiest meal in the world due to the nature of it, it will be far healthier made at home than at a restaurant. You will have the power to choose your own ingredients, like organic, free range chicken for instance. You can control the sodium! Check out this McChicken copycat.
This is a complete guilty pleasure for me. I’m fairly picky about the fast food that I like. I really only ever order chicken nuggets from burger places. At Taco Bell, it’s a steak quesadilla. At McD’s, I’ll change it up a bit. I’ll have a regular hamburger or a McChicken or nuggets. This McChicken copycat recipe looks AMAZING!
