Know what I love more than cheesecake? Oreo cheesecake! I know a lot of people are starting to boycott. I won’t get into it here. This is not a political web site. But I do feel that I at least need to acknowledge that some of you lovely readers aren’t ok with Oreos anymore.
Well, I have a couple solutions for you that are still made right here in the USA.
- Trader Joe’s JoJos. Honestly I like them even better than Oreos, and they have a gluten free kind that is actually really good! So if you’re cooking for a gluten free eater, you can use those and these gluten free graham crackers
- I know not everyone has a TJ’s near by. If that’s the case for you, Wal Mart has a brand of Oreo type cookies called Country Choice Organic Chocolate Sandwich Cookies.
Don’t be afraid to still eat Oreo/Cookies and Cream food items just because Oreo now goes against some of your better moral judgements. There are still options, and some of them are even tastier than our favorite brand!
