Stroganoff is one of my winter time staples. One, it’s easy. Two, it’s delicious. Three, it’s like a warm, comforting hug. Perhaps my winter intake is part of my winter coat problem. That’s what we call our winter weight gain in my family. It’s our winter coat to help us stay warm, hehe.
This stroganoff is a little more special than usual. It’s chicken stroganoff! It only takes 20 minutes, and it’s a healthier, leaner version. Maybe my winter coat won’t be so big this year after all.
I usually use steak in my stroganoff, but I can imagine how good this chicken stroganoff would be especially with a splash or two of white wine in the sauce. That might make it a little more caloric than you’d want, but man, oh, man! It would be soooooo good.
