egg nog

A CREATIVE Homemade Egg Nog

For a while, I thought that I couldn’t have eggs. Every time I ate them, I got sick as a dog. Well, it turned out that people were making them with butter, milk, etc. I can’t do that stuff. For those that do have a problem with egg, this eggless egg nog looks pretty intriguing!

This eggless egg nog has fewer calories, and it can even be made vegan! This is a great way for everyone to enjoy holiday traditions.

This egg nog is actually made with vanilla pudding mix. You can always use whatever milk you like. I would personally probably your almond or cashew. If you’re a milk drinker though, go ahead and use cow’s milk! No shaming allowed here!

  • 6 c. almond milk, cashew milk, or skim milk {I use Silk Almond Milk or Cashew Milk}
  • 1 (1 oz.) package sugar-free instant vanilla pudding
  • 2 T. granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg

  • Combine milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and nutmeg in a pitcher. Slowly add dry pudding powder, whisking constantly as you pour in pudding powder.
  • Refrigerate for about an hour before serving to allow eggnog to thicken a bit.
  • Sprinkle each serving with additional nutmeg.
